born to be my baby
The first time I hear this song, I kinda have this little fantasy. You see, I have a floating cube (only certain people can understand this ;) so I am somewhat of a daydreamer. My fantasy (I am not even sure if this is the right word to use) depicts me holding a guitar with a band and singing this song to the one that matters. But I have 3 little problems. First, I can’t play a guitar, I have guitar at home but I can’t play. Second, I can’t sing (unless I’m drunk). And third, there’s no one to sing to (sad isn’t it? *sob*)
But I really do love this song. Too bad I can’t upload the song coz my site provider would not accept mp3 files. But this is really a good song (READ THE LYRIC and I mean till the end ;). So before me find someone to sing to, me go brush up me guitar skills *laugh* Or maybe me do like Bon Jovi, leave the guitar to someone else and me just sing. Yeah, that’s sounds like a better idea ;)
[Born To Be My Baby - Bon Jovi]
Rainy night and we worked all day
We both got jobs 'cause there's bills to pay
We got something they can't take away
Our love, our lives
Close the door, leave the cold outside
I don't need nothing when I'm by your side
We got something that'll never die
Our dreams, our pride
My heart beats like a drum (all night)
Flesh to flesh, one to one (and it's alright)
And I'll never let go cause
There's something I know deep inside
You were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
We got something to believe in
Even if we don't know where we stand
Only God would know the reasons
But I bet he must have had a plan
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
Light a candle, blow the world away
Table for two on a TV tray
It ain't fancy, baby that's OK
Our time, our way
So hold me close better hang on tight
Buckle up, baby, it's a bumpy ride
We're two kids hitching down the road of life
Our world, our fight
If we stand side by side (all night)
There's a chance we'll get by (and it's alright)
And I'll know that you'll be live
In my heart till the day that I die
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man
We got something to believe in
Even if we don't know where we stand
Only God would know the reasons
But I bet he must have had a plan
Cause you were born to be my baby
And baby, I was made to be your man

Which version do you like better, the one on "New Jersey" or the new acoustic version on "This Left Feels Right"?
Personally, I think I like the slower, new one.
P.S. Serenading = guaranteed to make you a good guy and often leads to sex
