It’s beyond the human brain to understand the world and its environment, so the brain compensates by creating simplified illusions that act as a replacement for understanding. When the illusions work well and the human who subscribes to the illusion survives, those illusions are passed to new generations.

We do not live our lives the way we truly want. We live our life ruled by the social-ego, the society that we conform to. Why do we even have clothes? Adam and Eve weren’t wearing any when they were running around Eden. Why women bother painting their face and spend thousands on superficial stuffs that have no real utility? It’s because society dictates that if a woman is ugly or “unpresentable” then she would be stuck at the bottom of the pecking order. That’s reality. Women have to look good because we men want them to. Call men shallow but women do not paint their face or dress themselves up because they want to; they did it because we, men, the society want them to.

Most of what we do is hardly what we really wanted to do. Men work hard to gain financial freedom in order to secure a wife. Women work hard in order to make more money to appreciate their superficial values. A man’s eminence in society is measured by the money he makes and a woman by how good she looks. For as long as you conform to society, you will never truly live.

And for being in total control of their lives? Do they? Your boss calls you in the middle of the night to work. You conform. One of your clients gets mad at you for no reason. You take all the shit and smile. Your boyfriend cheated on you with you best friend. You seek revenge. Someone pisses you off. You try to get even.

Until you can learn how to really let go and walk away, you will never find peace and your life will just be a mess. Every human brain is an individual delusion-generator. It generates illusion that they are comfortable with, the basic notion of a religion. Some believe in God, some do not. Whether God exists or not, it’s an illusion. An illusion shared by billions of people which in turn makes it a reality (by the use of religion). Most of the population believes in God in some form, but who can say that God really do exist?

I am not saying that I am right. I could be wrong. Perhaps I was wrong all along. But it doesn’t matter to me anymore. What I really do hope to see is that people can learn how to let go. It really breaks my heart to see in the papers that someone is killed because of love triangles. People attempting suicide when things don’t go their way. Guys getting all messed up when a girl dumps him. They care too much, way too much for their own good. If only they can let go.

The problem you feel, you all THINK you feel, is simply because you believe it is a problem. I suck in expressing ideas with words. It doesn’t do justice to what I am trying to convey.
