Malaysian idol? Well, why not change it to Malay idol? First they say during the early rounds of audition that u could sing any language. Be it in Chinese, Malay, Tamil, English, anything. But then during the “theater elimination”, contestants are only allowed to choose between Malay and English songs. I mean, wat the fuck. Why cant they sing in other language other than tat 2?
 
Some Chinese singers can sing really well in Chinese but they just can’t sing it tat well in Malay or English due to the difficulty in pronunciation. I mean, ask P.Ramlee to sing in Cantonese, u’ll get wat I mean. It just doesn’t sound right but tat doesn’t mean they can’t sing. This is just fucking unfair. And the title of the show “Malaysian Idol” is misleading. They should change it to Malay Idol. I can bet my hair on it tat a Malay girl will win this thing. There are more Malays in this country compare to the others combined. I just don’t see a Malay guy picking up the phone and voting for Vick (the only Chinese on the first show). Yeah, I may be superficial but I am no racist. I just think this is fuck.
 
And the judges, they are a bunch of hypocrites. “ohh, saya rasa awak bagus”, “ohh, awak menyanyi dengan bagus”, “ohh, saya suka nyanyian anda”. If they really think those contestants are really tat good when they r obviously not, perhaps they might as well just kiss my white ass. The judges favors the Malays, and don’t tell me otherwise because it’s fucking obvious throughout the whole show from the early auditions till now. A malay guy with a malay lady and a mat salleh are in no position to judge a Chinese singing in Chinese or an Indian singing in Tamil. This is Malay Idol since the very beginning. There is no such thing as Malaysian Idol.
 
And for the only Chinese (Vick) on this first show, to me, he was among the best singer. But I don’t really think he will make it thru. wanna know why? Because he’s not gonna get enuf votes to get thru. More Malays are watching and I don’t think they will vote for him. they'll probably just vote for some Malay hotties (if there's any to begin with). In the end, this whole show will just be about Malays.
 
If u’re gonna make a show tat favors the Malays then by all means do it as Malay Idol. Do not mislead the public.
 
Malaysian = Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazan, Dusun, Iban, Melanau, and all the other races in this country.
Malay = Malay. Period.
Choose the word wisely the next time around when u decide to make another show.
 
*I was the only Chinese during my pre-school and primary. And I was in a boarding school (less than 10 non-malays at any given time) for secondary so I basically lived with Malays for 5 years. I hv more malay frens than any other races combined. I got nothing against them. But this whole Malay-sian Idol is just fuck, with the loud F.
