Andrew, the song was actually ok. Sound was just nice but the hair is really cacat case. I know you have long hair but you do not really need to let it down. Just tied it up and wear a bandana or something. He actually looked like a decent looking female to me. And he should STAND STILL. Those moves was CACAT.

Dina, I know she can sing but the clothes are totally OFF. We all know she’s a plus size so wear something appropriate. Pants are always better for a plus size girl than skirts (or whatever they call that). She sang quite well actually but I have to close my eyes to listen to it, I cringed looking at her sing, the sight wasn’t nice. I just wonder how Amy Lee would feel if she saw Dina singing her song. I don’t mean to be mean but you can’t try to dress like Amy Lee when you are not Amy Lee.

Zamil, I think he sang out of tune for most parts of the songs. I didn’t really listen to everything and I missed the judges’ comment coz I went to make myself something to eat. But I’ll guess that he’ll be at the bottom 3 this week.

Nikki, nothing special. I thought this was supposed to be rock week. That song wasn’t rock at all. My guess is she’ll be at the bottom 3 too.

Saiful, what more can I say. He tried to be cool and yelled to the audience and as soon as he finished yelling, he forgot lyric. I could sing that song better than him *laugh* I actually do like that song. Shiela on 7 is the only good Malay singing band right now. They’re from Indonesia thou. By right he should be the one going home this week but looking back at the pattern from previous weeks, you never know. Paul said it was ok that he missed the middle part coz he would probably could have sing it anyway. But this is the finals of Malaysian Idol, you only get one chance my fren, you snooze you lose. But then again, Saiful could just be lucky, like how he has been for the past weeks.

Vick, if only he could pronounce words better. He seriously got what is takes to be the first Malaysian Idol. He got the style. From what I read in some articles describing certain types of males, Vick actually falls under the New Age Urban Male (or some call it metrosexual) If only he could scrap the “cute-babyface-good-guy-nice-guy” thingy. Put a bit of “bad boy” in him and he’ll be perfect.

Jac, gua malas mau cakap la. She screwed up a good song. I am not being sexist here but a lady can never sing a song from Guns N’ Roses. Axl Rose might sound a bit like a girl but that doesn’t mean Jac should sing it. And you know what, most probably she’d win the whole thing but one thing for sure, if she does win it, she aint gonna get any admiration from me. Like what all the judges been saying week in and week out, she is miles ahead of the others. It’s like Schumacher racing with 19 clones of Alex Yoong.

All in all, this week was a disaster. None of them can rock. Almost all of the songs were actually alternative and not rock. They need to define the term better. They could have picked a song from Sex Pistols and still call it rock (Sex Pistols is punk)
